There is a big difference between Nuclear power plants and nuclear bombs. The process is different for creating them. The problem with Iran is they are going beyond what it takes to build traditional nuke power plants and they are using techniques which could also be used for bombs.
Out of all the nations you mentioned, I trust them the least.

Why would we go to war with these countries?
Surely an irrational argument to suggest just because a nation is pursuing nuclear energy a war is inevitable.
I suppose that it just illustrates the ignorance of the average american who beleive that America is somehow entitled to nuclear know-how, but no one else is. That America is somehow entitled to possess atomic weapons, but no one else is. That America, the only nation to have EVER used atomic weapons, should have such arms while wholly innocent nations like Iran (which has not invaded another country in 200 years) should be prevented.

Yes, we surely need to be worried about these developments.
Pakistan cannot be trusted not to hand-over nuclear technology to terrorist groups. It may not even be able to control it. Of the countries you have mentioned Egypt, Jordan and Iran are much better than Pakistan and Libya.

I´d be a lot more concerned with the nukes currently possessed by less than stable regimes like the member states of the CSS/ex-Soviet Bloc. Not to be irritating but you seem to forget that the US is the ONLY country ever to use nuke(s!) in a hostile situation however justified it was at the time......

Yeah, don't forget pretty much everyone has nukes or the materials &/or knowhow to make them, not just the middle east. It just seems somewhat inevitable the way the situation is escalating that someone is going to get a tetchy trigger finger. I hope for the best but expect the worst I'm afraid.

I don't know where the hell you've been but we've been worried about a nuclear war since the bombing of Japan.

Oh I think it's inevitible. That's why I'm getting a backup generator for my house and making sure I keep provisions in the house to last at least a week. I want to be prepared for anything anyone can and will throw at us.
I'm just trusting the good folks in the armed forces to help keep us safe.
Thanks, guys and girls! Mad respect to you!

its a nuclear world these days, the US has it, and i don't see anyone complaining about it, other countries have it too, but they are too chicken to use it, makes me wonder why they build it anyway
