The grandparents firstly should not be babysitting.
Bringing up a child is the parents responsibility, the grand parents should be taking life easy not bringing up their kids kids.
Parents should get their priorities right, if they did not want to have kids and look after them they should have thought more about contraception.

The government will only pay a percentage of the costs if it's registered child care, they wont pay the parents or grandparents.

well, when my nana came to look after my younger sister when my mum was at work, my parents insisted to pay her £20 a week, although my nana didnt seem that fussed.
