The arm opposite of which you write with. so if you are left handed, you wear it on your right, if you are right, wear it on your left. Or whatever hand you want to, who cares. Its usually worn on the opposite for comfort.

It used to be considered proper to wear it on the left because the winding post is located on the right side of the watch. Since most watches no longer have a winding post except to adjust time, you can wear it on either arm. I would recommend wearing it on the opposite arm to which you are most comfortable throwing a ball. This way the stretchy band isn't a problem when you swing your arm and you can refer to the watch when writing the time down without lifting the pen from the paper to view the watch.

It really is dependent upon which arm you are more comfortable wearing it on.

There is no specific hand-code for wearing a wristwatch, but left handed people tend to wear it on the right hand and vice-versa. Its all about which hand is convenient for the wearer. Sugeons are not allowed to wear watches at all in the operation theatre for obvious reasons, nurses fasten their watch like a brooch on the uniform whereas sports refrees can't work without wearing one mostly on the neck, aristocrats wear it chained to their coat pocket. But your question is specifically about writstwatch, you can wear it on either hand depending on which hand you use and your job description.

The majority of people are right handed and wear the watch on their left hands, there is however, no rule that says this is the only way to wear a watch.....doing your own thing!

Right handed wears it on left, and left handed wears it on the right. However, you can also wear it on the hand you use to move a computer mouse with, so you won't over-extend your wrist all the time and get carpel tunnel.

Clue: Ever notice that watches are made with the fizzle ( winder) on the right side of the face? It's odiously more comfortable to wind ant set it with your right hand while worn oh the right. Pocket watch is neutral as it hangs from a fob from the top and you manipulate it from the top.

There is no "correct way". Generally, the rule is that you use a watch on the wrist opposite of your primary hand.

I, however, break the rule, and wear one on my right wrist facing inward. It is more convenient for me to do it that way.
