Ah well the end of the world and the threat of damnation is the cutting edge of religious muscle, isn't it? If the end of the world is ever less that nigh, then who gives a monkey's about what the preacher man says? It's the sword that keeps the flock in line.

WE don't know when the end is "nigh" that's why we are told to repent. Does this worry you?

most people do not even know what repentance is. they repent to their God only to go out and commit a sin again. repentance isnt accepted by God until one really means it from the heart.

yea i know those people get too much out of it, anyone can die at anytime, why not just live it and not worry so much
