Dear God,
Since you are all powerful and everything, please explain to me why there is a devil.
I heard he was an angel with your crew then he went all marylin manson on your shiit.
Couldn't you have spotted it a mile off? Didn't you hear him playing death metal on his harp?
So you made a bit of a dikhead up there, but why can't you just kick his azz? Or better yet..
forgive him.

You see this is the type of question that a christian would answer with the `the bible is not a textbook` response, it`s used when the bible dosen`t explain things properly and/or dosen`t make sense. As the bible dosen`t mention a creation event other than the Genesis account it can be safely said that this particular point shows, like many others, that the bible is a man made document, hence the discrepancy.

"Adam" means "mankind" in Hebrew... the people that think that Adam was a single, sole, solitary individual do NOT know this. There is a LOT of misunderstanding about what is and what is not in the Bible. The Bible condemns homosexuality between men, but says nothing about it between women, although I can guarantee you will often be told otherwise. Some of the Bible IS historically accurate and archaeology has proven this, but it has also proven that a lot of it is INaccurate.

She was his sister. You have to remember, Adam & Eve were the first humans and they had many other children besides Cain & Able. Therefore, the human race had to depend on more then just these two. Interesting question, but yes, I do believe it was through incest....

Have you read Oberon Zell's "The Other People"
It explains how El is a local deity and the snake told the truth. Then continues with where Cains wife came from. HINT: It wasn't El.

It was his sister. Adam and Eve had more kids. Just keep reading the Word of God. You are doing great.
