Okay I love car questions. I sell cars for a living but I sell Nissan cars. But one of my job traits is to know about my competitors. The Mazda 3 is a good reliable car but they are technically owned by ford which makes me a little suspicious of buying used but if you do, go on-line to kelleybluebook.com and find the RETAIL (no dealership is going to sell you a car for private party or trade-in values, you'll see when you go to the website) value of the car you are interested in and if they won't sell it to you for the book price then they are A**holes and you don't want to buy from them make the dealership show you a carfax before you sign anything and don't let them charge you for that either. Do your homework and find out how many of them are in your area and use that to your advantage. The only way to not get taken for a ride (excuse the expression) is to be smarter than whoever you are dealing with watch out for the opposite sex they will use that as an advantage, believe me I do all things things all the time and I make great money doing it. Sorry But I love my job and I'm pretty sure you wont be walking into my dealership so I don't mind giving the advice. Be careful don't let smiles and hot guys/girls get over on you and whether or not You know it we know what kind of buyer you are just by the way you say hello and respond to our introduction and we'll feed on that. check out client comments. The Mazda 3 is the right rated small automobile, and has been for the previous few years, it beat out all of the Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans, even Subaru. So choose for it! between the main suitable autos you are able to tension.

Yes, and go to http://www.intellichoice.com for info and dealer offerings in your area. Usually they even have carfax.
Personally, I like the toyota Matrix.Pontiac Vibe better. More room and economy, but not as sporty. HAve one.
