I still believe the absolute best way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more...so I'm trying to come up with ways not to eat as much until my body adjusts.

I never said I was starving myself. I am eating less than I am accustomed to, which is actually the amount I should be eating.

First thing, add a lot of fiber in your diet, the fiber becomes a gel in your stomach that keeps you full for a longer time, and u won't get fat from that. You can find that in oatmeals... or cereals like Komplete (from kellogs) or raising brand (from post) or fibra max (from nestle) this last one is the better but the taste is not so good...
Try to eat the healtier at dinner time, for example this cereal... and if get that usual hungry night, you can eat some fruits after that letting happen the most amount of time you can, making that last food your 6th meal
Also Eat from 5 to 6 times a day (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner)... but don't skip any of them ever or you'll be wanting to eat junk food. Also eat lot vegetable(Broccoli, carrots and green things) and fruits (apples, berries..), but don't avoid them, cause if you do, for example, if u don't eat fruits, your body will ask you for sugar (and I'm not talking about wanting an apple) you'll be missing chocolates or candies more than if you eat your vegetables...
the 5 meals gives you a faster metabolism!
Eat a lot of fish and chicken, (not fried dude) but remember to check out the portions, for example eat like 5oz in a lunch time, remember that you can also eat vegetables and salads, or any low fat thing, remember that around two hours and a half you'll have your next snack, that could be for example a low fat yougurt with strawberries...
At the begging you'll want to eat all at once and more, but after a week your stomach get use to small amounts of food...
Remember get more fiber, eat more fruits and vegetables, don't ever skip meals or snacks cause you may miss junk food... and will power!
If you do exercises like running or anything else, try to do them in the morning, u'll be burning more calories in the entire day than if you do ur exercices at any other time.
Luck

Well first off u r absolutely wrong in thinking this.. U will loose weight but it will not be fat. It will be muscle and the end result is not very attractive... Wouldn't u rather have a lean sculpted figure that is Strong healthy and OOOOO so sexy... The best and scientifically prov-en most efficient way to loose weight is to hydrate properly, eat more small meals through out the day and exercise for at least a hour a day making sure to maintain a high hart rate.. If u don't believe me, try this for thirty days.. Drink 1 oz of water for every pound u weigh every day.. This alone will shed no less the 10 to 15 pounds and probable more... The small meals spread out throughout the day will keep your energy level up and it will you have a much higher metabolism thus always burning calories. Add that to the exercise and u will be able to sculpt your body the way u want and continue to maintain this new figure... U should do a bit of research and educate yourself a bit more before u decide u r ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED.. And if u r absolutely convinced the u have nothing to loss in checking out what I have talked about... Right?

My husband just lost 100 lbs and yes drinking plenty of water is great but your body needs the nutrients so what he did was drink two glasses of water then a bottle of the power aid water that was before meals then he also cut is meals in half and ate 5 smaller ones lots of fruit, veggies and meats sub-statue for ex sample chips yes we all like chips with our sandwiches but try hand full of carrots the crunchiness will also suppress the appetite. Instead of doing a bunch of sit ups walking is a lot better. The main thing is moving and dis track your self. If you notice there is a certain part of the day you just want to eat then go do something walk the dog go to the park get in the car and drive then you do that for a few days and see the difference.

Its the same thing as killing the pig. No, its actually worse, and more risky. The pig will need a lot of food and water to regenerate from the machete cuts. And you'll need a medical facility to make sure that piggy won't die and you didn't just wasted 150 kilo of meat for a scrap of scab. So yeah there are way too many complications. Not plausible.

Keep yourself occupied. I work in an OR and there are days that I am busy and I won't eat for 12 to 14 hours. Also, when you do eat, eat slowly. Enjoy the food that you eat and take your time. This will give your body an opportunity to tell you it is full, before you eat to much.

Good luck with your weight loss.

I know you said "eating not included but I gotta say it....
Try increasing your fibre intake. Get rid of the "Carbs are bad" voices in your head. Increasing fibre will help you feel full longer and you'll poop more often and more of it. High fibre cereals plus low fat milk is an awesome awesome meal anytime. If you add 1/2 a banana you're going to have soooo much energy at the gym!

You will find that all dieticians will advocate that NOT eating will not 'adjust' your body...but places it into starvation mode. Yes, eating less and exercising more does help you to loose weight--but, you best bet is to find a site that gives you what your normal BMI range should be, and approximately how many calories you should be consuming on a regular basis to achieve the normal BMI.

Starving yourself is foolish. You should be eating.

They say by reducing the portion size of the items you eat, over time your body will become accustomed to that and you will feel full and satisfied.

caffiene is an appetite suppressant, coffees, teas, etc should help. NO SODA! drink grapefruit and other juices but make sure there is no high fructose corn syrup in it. High fructose corn syrup is turning out to be kind of like hydrogenated vegetable oil -- really bad genetic mutant stuff. It is better to balance your diet. If you eat a lot of something substitute something else -- like instead of extra cheese on a pizza get mushrooms. get a hamburger instead of a cheese burger. You can snack on things like pretzels and celery and carrots for forever and not gain weight -- you don't have to starve.
