If so, how can we tell?

So much so that I have surrounded myself with the paintings of as many of them as I possibly could throughout my house. They are all cherished friends. Gabriel is hanging over my bed, Michael is in the living room, Raphael is in my home office, etc. And then there is the angel of summer, the angel of winter, the angel of autumn, the angel of spring, the angel of love, the angel of light, the angel of ........... In fact the only ones I don't have [I hope :-)] are the angel of darkness and the associated demons. But who knows, I am still waiting for them to turn the corner to the good side so I can put up their portraits too. I maybe an eternal optimist, but I don't think it is ever too late for the tide of evil, bloodshed, ignorance, hatred, fanaticism, poverty, hunger, and war in this world to turn. Maybe if more people actually believed in angels and their goodness (instead of fanatic religious views) our world might have been a much more peaceful kinda place. Hey, we can always wish a good wish, cannot we?

P.S. But to answer your real question: I think YES, sometimes when we are really lucky, and least expect it, we run into special people who are true angels in our lives. How can you tell, you ask? Easy - by their angel hair, their loving ways, and their heartfelt smile. :-)

yes I do. I think angels are everywhere. sometimes they even apear to us in human form if they really have an important message for us. ok like say you were going to go somewhere and somthing stopped you from going and you find out a day later that there was an accedent or something at that place that day. mabey there was a reason that you werent soposed to be there. mabey your angel stopped you from going. Ive had this happen to me before. also when I was 13 I died for a few min. then i was brought back. then i was at the hospital and there was a very young, handsome doctor, he told me some things i really needed to hear at that time. later when i asked about him no one could even remember seeing him. I think he was an angel with a message for me.

I believe, after quite a lot of study on various religions and magical systems, that there are forces in life of all different kinds. Humans need to create interfaces so we can interact with, recognize, and even use these forces. If the system of interface that you prefer is 'angel', then yes, angels do exist.
If the system of interface you prefer is 'Roman gods and goddesses', then those exist.
Forces beyond ourselves are real, and large, and very powerful. It is perfectly acceptable to use the idea of angels to interact with the forces of good. You can pick one angel and ask that one to help you in your life, and light candles to that angel every now and then, and if you do it sincerely I'm sure those forces called 'angel' will be there for you.

Sure they are there, just because we cannot see them doesn't make it not true.

I once asked the same question to a very well known psychic whose show I was involved with. She told me this: Next time you want something, don't ask God for it, ask your angels for it and see what happens. I am telling you the same thing. Don't make a game out of it, Angels don't really do parlor tricks, but the next time you REALLY need something ask your angels and see what happens!

Yes, definitely. Angels touch our lives all the time, especially in the other people in our lives.

I don't think we can always tell until after it's passed, but they're always there when we need them.

Absolutely.

We usually don't realize it until later.

I've enjoyed many likely encounters, a couple of which probably saved my life.

For a great angel story, try the Book of Tobit (Tobias) in the old testament.

They are present!
There are things you can not see but have to beleive in, let me give you an example:
If you cut yourself and start bleeding,
having pain?
frightened?
let me tell you I do not beleive it if you come and tell me it hurts, do you know why? Simple, its because I can only see the cut and some blood, WHERE IS THE PAIN YOU LIER, I can not see it, but I have to beleive that it is there.
Hope my explanation was clear engough for everybody.
