Although thujone has a slightly similar structure to THC, the effect and metabolism is completely different. Not only is there little thujone in a bottle of absinthe (both modern and vintage) but it will not cause hallucinations or THC like effects in any dose.
No, it will not appear on any a drug test.

It depends, sometimes they are looking for a specific substance, such as THC, and you might get lucky that way if you are in this situation. I think that it is different enough as it is only a cousin of THC, but I am not 100% sure that it won't show up. If you drank some Absinthe and have a drug test coming up, or are asking for a friend, go to a local herb shop and look for things to flush your system with. They are surprisingly effective at cleaning traces out of your system. Good luck.

no on the dope test(molecule strucure is different),although real absinthe is very hard to get in this country.a lot of the products you see are chemically different,real and way overpriced(or mail order scams from europe),or just plain bunk.find a reputable exporter,establish an account,then you can consume enough alcohol to acheive your own view of "dementia".... ABSINTHE "history in a bottle" by barnaby conrad is regarded as the best reading material,and is the most loaned of my few absinthe books.

If it contains THC and I don't personally know if it does, then you definitely will test positive.
