Its not really an age factor, its a maturity factor.

As long as you are mature enough to support a child, mentally, physcially and financially, then the age part shouldn't matter.

The best years to have a baby are from 17-24, you are more physcially capable to have a baby and a healthy one at that. The older you get the more likely there will be serious health risks associated with the baby and yourself.

PHYSICALLY, a woman's body is well prepared for pregnancy around age 20 or 21. (Most but not all women's hips have developed well enough by 18.) Anytime from then until your mid-30's is good. After 35 your risks of having a child with serious genetic difficulties increases by the year.

SOCIALLY and EMOTIONALLY, pregnancy is best when you've reached the age where you can provde well for yourself and another human being, not only materially and financially, but also with the assurance of having a mature, diverse, and reliable social network of people you can really count on and trust your child with.

Given the need for higher levels of education in order to make enough to support a family, it's probably best to have some college or technical training nearly completed before having a child. (Parenting on welfare is NO FUN - it's a constant struggle, very draining, and very hard to catch up on things, let alone move ahead toward your goals or dreams.)

I don't believe that there is a best age for pregnancy. It all depends on when you are ready. You can be 40 and still be too immature to raise a child, or you can be 18 and be the best parent ever. Age is not important in this matter, your emotional and mental stability is.

If you are talking about having time and energy to spend with your children, I would say 20's are an appropriate age. You will still be young enough to enjoy all the things that your child enjoys. But you can be 40 and still do this too. I am sticking to my first response to this one.

A woman's fertility and her chances of having a healthy baby are maximal between the ages of 20 to 25, so from a biological point of view, this is the best time. Fertility does start to decline after the age of 25, but this decline is so gradual until the age of 30, that it's safe in the majority of women to postpone starting their family uptil this age. After 30, it's worth putting this on your priority list; and after 35, fertility does drop fairly quickly, so pay attention to your biological clock.

i have to say there is no best age for pregnancy..sometimes it just happens you know you dont plan to get pregnant....if you are able to control whether or not you become pregnant only you can decided when your ready...no age is best if you yourself can't say your ready....and sometimes your not ready once your pregnant but when you see that baby for the first time.....its like you felt ready your whole life regardless of how old you maybe

I don't think there is a "best age" ... but I know that was a thought on my mind b4 i became one being nieve....

Honestly, give yourself enough time to start off in life... have a partner...go from there.
But age wise, you don't want to be too old to run around with them, but u don't want to be too young either. Plus you want to be young enough to really enjoy poss grandkids. In my opinion prob best bet would be between 26-32. That way your between 45-50ish when their 20.

my best bet would be in your 20's-get done with school and degrees first then think about babies. i would have to say around 27 or so at the latest since your clock is starting to tick-you are born with X amt. of eggs and they will expire by a deadline.as you get older your # of eggs decreases and it can never reach that # again nor can the eggs be reproduce again like sperm-you have a certain # when born and after that good luck to you.

Well.. there's no best age for pregnancy cos of various factor like "are you able to raise a child?" "are you financially stable?" But wat i can say is if you do not have any barriers to having children for example finance stautes, family and etc.. its best to get pregnant by 32 yrs old...

I would guess middle to late 20's and early 30's. Generally, most women are better physically capable and financially stable to start having kids at that time.
