As long as Mohamud was married to his sole Financeer,he never thought of second marriage. This was his love to her(as muslim think) or he had no choice,if he was in true love with her than after her departure, rather to live in her memories,he used money from Khydeja and permission from Allah to make a football team of house wives to play the Match of Power.

wait, u asked the same question a few weeks back and i gave u the answer, didnt i?

1st of all, MUHAMMED-PBUH WAS THE SON AND NEPHEW OF LEADER OF THE QUREYSH TRIBE. he wasnt a poor man, he was a merchant. but he beleived in something people dont have today -- SIMPLICITY.

she was not his sponsor first of all. infact, it was she who was impressed with the loyalty and honesty of muhammed-pbuh, and kept the proposal of marraige via muhammed-pbuh's uncle Abu Talib. muhammed-pbuh was 25 when he married to a 40year old widow. it was she who wanted to marry him in first place due to his absolute trust worthiness. the whole of ARAB knew that muhammed-pbuh was the mlost trust worthy man , that is why he was called -AL-AMIN.

and she was infact the first to beleive in muhammed-pbuh and God's revealtions to muhammed-pbuh.. and he did not marry someone else during the lifetime of hazrath khadijah-r.a becoz, he loved her sincerely and immensely. why should he be afraid of her when they loved each other whole-heartedly.

and why would God tell him to marry someone else when his first wife was alive. muhammed-pbuh did not marry another woman when Khajidah-r.a was alive. when he had no one to take care of their children he had to marry again. their children were: Qasim, Abdullah (Tahir or Tayyib), Zainab, Ruqaiyyah, Umm kulthum and Fatimah. if it would not have been for the children he wouldnt have married.

do u know that all his life what muhammed-pbuh ate, dates and if he was lucky then he would have milk. if there was any meat cooked, he would prefer to give it to the poor and needy than feed himself.

it was muhammed-pbuh who said - no man is a beleiver until he desire for his brother what he desires for himself.

also Allah bears witness to His muhammed-pbuh. i dont think u will gain anything by bad mouthing him. ya, may be a few words of appreciation from men but that will be of no use to u when u will face ur Lord on the Day of Judgement.

may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u and may He guide u in the right path. May Allah show His mercy on u and protect u from the Hellfire. peace be to u brother.

ask yourself, if someone who was in good life condition as you mention. why will he put his life in risk trying to spread the word of Allah. do you have any idea how hard is it for one person to tell the Arab Pagans that ur religion is wrong and worship one God instead, it's something impossible!

and just to let you know. Muhammad Died Poor! he was no need of this life. he lived as a simple life, and not in castle like most of the kings. this is the truth of muhammad, an honor man with tender heart but many people don't know. a mercy to the huminity to correct what has misguided and guide them toward the truth from their lord.

do you know that when He began his call for people to become Muslims and denounce the worship of statues, this tribe offered to make him their king and give him all the wealth and power ,in return he would stop believing in God, and he refused.
if he was a wealth seeker ,this was a golden chance for him to become the most rich and powerful man in the Arab world, so why did he refuse.

To the guy who said Muhammed died poor---you are a fool. He was a very wealthy and influencal man in his time, hence why so many people listened to him and believe even today that he was a prophet of God.

just to mention. Muhammad does not need to be a prophet so he can marry more than one wife. Muhammad does whatever God command him to do.

before become a prophet. Muhammad was married to one wife, who is much older than him. while whole Arabia men can have as much number of women as they wish. prostitution are available and drunk is everywhere. Muhammad never repeat their behavior.

not to be rude or anything, but PLEASE think before you speak/or post...research that. prophet muhammed (pbuh) loved khadeejah dearly. it wasnt becuase she died that he decided to go and marry other woman. he NEVER loved another woman the way he loved khadeejah, but if you research this subject you will find that he didnt marry the other woman for no reason. each woman he married for essential reasons. please research it. thanks for asking, and for the record, he did not marry a football team of women. haha

I suspect it was a term of her accepting him in marriage that he didn't take any other wives, or concubines. by his actions, he proved he didn't know anything about love, ever
