The Episcopal Church in the U.S. is governed by the same heirarchy as the Anglican church. It is possible that they could split soon over the issue of homosexuality, though. The Anglican leaders (Archbishop of Canterbury, and various church councils) are unhappy that the U.S. Episcopal church ordained a homosexual bishop. We'll have to wait and see how that situation evolves. Their traditions are generally similar otherwise.
Then Anglican church (previously known as the Church of England) is a protestant church that broke from Roman Catholicism over a period of time when Henry XIII wanted to get a divorce and the Pope would not sanction it. Protestant sentiments were rising in England, and over time Catholicism was outlawed and the Church of England became the state church, instead of Roman Catholicism. Many Anglican churches continue to observe many Catholic practices and rituals, but they are substantially mainline Protestant in their doctrine.
The Greek Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Church split over several issues, but mainly over the pre-eminence of the Bishop of Rome, who is now called the Pope. Both of these churches consider themselves to be the one true apostolic church.
I find inspiration, wisdom, as well as superstition and manmade traditions in all of them, as well as other churches. There are few Christ-centered groups that we cannot learn something of value from.
This is only a very brief overview. Others can provide far more detail.

Yup -- Anglican and Episcopalian are pretty much the same.
Some people believe that the Anglican Church is a Catholic Church -- just not Roman Catholic. They do not recognize the supremacy of the Pope. Orthodox Churches are also similar to the Catholic Church. There are some differences -- but the big one is the nonacceptance of the Pope as their leader.
Both Orthodox and Roman Catholic believe that their church is the true church founded by Jesus. Anglicans know that their church was founded by Henry VIII.

RCC is headed by the Pope.
That's the primary difference.
I have a friend who's KINDA-Episcopalian: he has his own religion - a mix of Epi. & RC. He, himself, says he's almost Catholic; he just doesn't believe in the infallibility of the pope (& doesn't realize that many Catholics don't, either).
