So the guy that i have been dating doesnt know that i smoke. . . on occasion he might smell smoke via my hair( once or twice in a year), but i always make up an excuse, and for some reason he believes me?(im really good at hiding it obviously) I know that he doesnt like a woman who smokes, but i really like him. what should i do? I know that i should give it up, but its easier said than done. And i dont want to tell him because i have been denying it for so long. Can anyone help me?

First of all -- he is believing you because he probably really likes you. People sometimes overlook the obvious because they are in love.
If he means alot to you -- then quit ! I would tell him the truth and just say exactly what you have said in your question. You like him alot and you know he doesnt like a girl that smokes, and that is why you have lied to him, but he is important to you and you want to quit and ask him to help you quit.
Maybe make a deal with him, that every time you feel like a smoke, he distracts you or something like with a kiss ;-)) That is one way to take your breath away !

The dishonesty will break the relationship more than the smoking but if you cant quit, you definately need to come clean. Why would you want to be with someone who will not accept the real you? A smoker. I have been there and done that. Don't be who someone wants you to be, be YOU.
BUT, I quit 4 years ago and it is the best decision I ever made, so I hope you give it a try too.

Just be brave and talk to him. He will love that from U! The fact that you came with the secret instead of waiting for him to find out. Just be yourself and try to probe that you care for him and will quit smoking. And apologize for not telling him before. Anyway the results from smoking are awful, U know them!!

You should be upfront with your smoking. If he really has the hots for you, he's should accept and respect you choice of being a smoker.

Tell him you smoke and be proud you smoke, it is a part of who you are, and smoking is fun, cool, and something you should be proud of. if your boyfriend can not handle who you are than you should leave him and find someone who love who you are and what you do. I was a smoker for six years. Believe me, he knows. He obviously likes you too. Talk to him and find out how he feels. By the way, you can't hide it. It is entrenched in your body.

I am really self concious about smoking. I am honest. One thing I learnt that is it never to early to be honest in a relationship, otherwise things fester.

hmm.. try giving him hints??.. an advice for u is to stop smoking.. or try telling him the truth and talk to him... maybe he will forgive you and continue dating with u.. but it will be really better if u stop smoking..

THATS WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONEST IN THE BEGINNING. TELL HIM NOW AND WHILE YOU ARE TELLING HIM THIS, TELL HIM THAT, FOR YOUR HEALTH, YOU WILL TRY AND STOP (STICK TO THAT OF COURSE) AND IF HE STICKS IT OUT WITH YOU, THEN HE'S A GOOD DUDE.....BUT YOU SHOULDNT HAVE LIED THOUGH.
