good question. Really, we are not supposed to celebrate any prophet's holiday in such a manner by over-glorifying them and ultimately doing what the Christians did (no offense)--associating a prophet (Jesus) with God. There is also a hadith in which Muhamad (pbuh) said we should not differentiate between the prophets nor say he is better than Moses. This does not mean Muhamad (pbuh) shouldn't be reverred as an exemplary model and precedent for mankind (although no one is perfect) but just that we should respect all the prophets (such as Jesus who also preached some lovely principles which co-incide with the Quran) Peace! :-)

Yes, he is also the best Prohet of Allah, cuz through him Allah has sent the final Book and promised to mankind that HE will protect it from changes.

Mohammed is a blessing for mankind cuz he restored all the teachings which the Prophets, inckuding Jesus had been preaching since ages.

Btw, Jesus didn't die. Allah sent another man in his place to be killed and protected him in the last minute. As Jesus will return to the earth one day when the end will be near.

celebrating someone's birthday in Islam is not appreciated, yet some of the muslims do it -- to see their children happy. Prophet Muhammed-pbuh never asked anyone nor did he ever celebrate his birthday -- and also none of the prophets including Jesus-pbuh did.

but also we muslims know the day Muhammed-pbuh was born but the day Jesus-pbuh was born was not found or ever recorded. but if u read the Qu'ran - Surah Maryam (19) IT SAYS -- BLESSED IS THE DAY HE WAS BORN. is that not enough a testimony to Jesus-pbuh?. by Allah and Islam. there is no discrimination against the 1,24,000 prophets -pbut.

infact Allah says in the Quran -- "let anyone who worships Muhammed-pbuh know that he was a messenger, and messengers have died before him, but He who worships Allah know that He is ALL-ETERNAL AND NEVER DIES." this verse alone is enough for the Islam-bashers.

Hey! There is no Jesus in Islam.

Your Jesus really has nothing to do with Christ and nothing to do with Isa or al Masih, what you see is false and the influence of the Hoax of the Crucifixion on Muslims who have strayed from Quran and Islam and who do not undertsand the Quran.

Isa cannot be translated Jesus and was never meant to refer to Jesus but Muslims have so much money invested in the fairy tales about Jesus that they are afraid to lose money and ashamed to admit to their gross ignorance.

muslims do believe that he was a great prophet, but that doesnt necessarily mean that jesus is any less than any other... i suggest you research it a little more. islam doesnt discriminate against anyone or any prophets. there is a common misconception about islam. some people think that muslims hate or discriminate against jesus when the truth is that muslims BELIEVE in jesus, but not that he is the son of god.
