I swear, it feels like I installed some type of spyware on my PC. I am using Yahoo Messenger with Voice and every once in a while, I come home to my PC being ridiculously slow. I took a screenshot of this, and I cannot figure out what a chat program - that isn't being used - needs so many resources for.

That definitely seems too high. On a 512MB PC, I've seen it take up less than 64MB. Perhaps it's taking up more space than it needs because you have a ton of RAM, or you are infected with some kind of spyware/adware.

Try uninstalling it and see if you find anything after rebooting that's still taking up a ton of memory. If not, reinstall Yahoo! Messenger and see if the problem comes back.
