She probably has another infection. Cocker ears hang low and are wonderful spots (warm and moist) for Yeast and bacteria to grow.
Back to the vet for you both. She needs another antibiotic. Ask the vet for an ear cleaner that dries out the ears. You can clean her ears with it once a week and make sure it stays really dry in there.
Consider changing her food. Most foods have ingredients that pets are either allergic to, (ear and skin irritation being the most common signs) or ingredients that are not healthy for dogs and make them sick. Read the dog food label, there should be NO corn, wheat, animal-by-product, animal digest, additives or preservatives. Iams, Purina and Science Diet is poison, change to something else.
Don't believe me? Read "Foods Pets Die For" by Ann N. Martin for all the gruesome details.
Artemis, Innova, California Natural, Wellness, and Canidae are the best. Look them up on the internet.
Good luck

go to web site below or to vet for an ear cleanser, flush or rinse

you just squirt it into the dogs ear about once or twice a week..fill the ear full then rub the area to make sure it gets down in the ear canal real good...after doing both ears allow the dog to shake his/her head to remove the excess

believe it or not it works wonders.

we have an english setter and their ears are like a cockers....the vet recommened that we do this to our setter...since using the rinse/flush he has had no problems with his ears

the rinse/flush not only cleans the ears but also deodorizes...i now just use if 3-4 times a month and his ears have no problems...this will be a life long thing you have to do but the 4-6 bucks a bottle is alot cheaper than getting meds for an infection that can be prevented by keeping the ears flushed out on a regular basis...one bottle can last a for quite a while.

at petnutritionproducts it is called healthy ears-ear cleanser....once you pay for an order from this company barring holidays and weekend you will have your order within 3 business days sometimes 2 days

Olive Oil on a cotton pad is good for cleaning out the ears - works a treat on my English Springer Spaniel. I also use a product called THORNIT. It is a powder that you sprinkle into the ears once every couple of weeks. It is a natural product, lasts for ages and really does work. I buy it direct from the suppliers £7 for 20g bottle - my dog is 18 months old and still on 1st bottle! If you are in the UK the suppliers details are:

Thornit, Hall Stables, Thornham, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6NB
Tel: 01485 512210

Hope that helps....

my cocker has chronic ear infections.....basically it is a yeast infection. I have to use the medication in his ears daily that the vet gave me to keep them from getting reinfected....cockers are notorious for bad itchy ears. The vet gave me Otomax to use...but it is best to culture the ears to find out if there is still something in there that is making them itch. My cocker's ears will smell very bad if they are infected. I also have to give him Atarax (anti-itching) pills once in a while (also a prescription from the vet). Good luck.....poor honey .....I know how annoying the itching can be.....

cockers are notorious for having ear problems. she may need to have some hair pulled from her ears. those hairs that grow close to the inside of her ear can get inside and cause all sorts of problems. try cleaning her ears on a daily basis and asking your veterinarian about a solution called "mal-otic". this is formulated for ears and will keep them dry and clean.

she may have mites which can become infected I think PetsMart or Petco sell a product for this can not think of a home remedy that would be effective. Get the poor animal some relief
