I think it means that the long distance is putting a strain on your relationship. I think that you think he is keeping secrets from you and you don't trust him 100%. I believe that your not being together has caused some insecurities. I don't know why but him being alone in the room murmuring your name makes me think that you have some guilt over leaving him behind while you go to the city to study.
I really hope that everything works out for you. Best Wishes! :o)

Dreams can always have different meanings. But I think I know the answer to this one - I think that you are afraid that he is forgetting about you, since your relationship is long distance. Do you ever wonder if he is meeting other women and not even remembering your relationship? If you feel strongly about this (as it is appearing in your dreams), maybe you should have a short distance relationship, rather than a long one. Good luck!

Dreaming about your bf being insane is a sign of stress and anxiety in you.
being insane = excuse to your subconscious mind
It has nothing to do with him. It is about you. Because you have a long distance relationship. Deep down, subconsciously you are helpless and you wanted this to end the way you don't want to. So, you projected an excuse to yourself that he is insane. However you are fighting with you subconscience. On one hand, you dreamed about, and on the other hand, you are into denial, and you don't think that is true. You still want that relationship.
This is due to stress and anxiety about not being with him. Having dream like that mean you are very down subconsciously because somehow you don't know what to know in reality.

This was definately brought on because you are missing him. The insane part I think was you telling yourself you know he's crazy about you too. As for him not recognizing you in the dream, maybe you look different in real life & you're hoping he's going to be ok with your new look.

I don't put too much into the "meanings" of dreams. Although Sigmund Freud would say it is all sexually related. I think dreams tend to be our brain going off in a secure environment. I think a lot of times dreams have nothing to do with anything other than our brain experimenting. Don't let it worry you too much. Best of luck.

A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahanswerholics Community member suggests the following.

You are worried about your BF forgetting who you are when you aren't around.
Evidence:
The child messenger -- your inner fears
The BF becomes insane -- looses something in his mind
You can't see it happen
He is murmering your name -- he only has a nonreal connection with you.
He hardly recognized you when you see him.
Try and spend a vacation with him at Christmas if you can and get reconnected.

Sorry - my dream book says expect an unpleasant surprise - It can also indicate feelings of being left out, out of it, unwanted, ignored, neglected, set apart.
