I got one DWI in maryland and they revoked my license for a year. It was time for me to completely quit driving, and I did. I live in Virginia so things got kind of complicated. I talked to a lawyer who wanted $5,000, and finally decided to lower the price to $4,000, which I didn't have, so I ended up with a public defender. That was like taking a cocker spaniel to court with you and it wasn't even my dog. I got fined a couple of hundred dollars and probated into Virginia and ordered to attend the Virginia Driver Improvement Class, where you pay $350 to sit in a folding chair and watch videos. Those people had us fill out a questionaire that asks questions like have you ever been in a fight in a bar? Just say you occasionally like to have a drink and don't admit to anything else or they'll send you to counseling, which was supposed to cost almost $800. I said no court ordered me to do that and ended up in the same court with the judge who didn't order it, and the same public defender, who never mentioned a jury trial, although he later lied about that. I don't think any jury would have convicted me, but I ended up doing three weeks in jail for violating my probation. That sure beat 4 months of counseling with a complete creep. I forgot to mention it before, but I got a letter telling me to go talk to some guy in Virginia. I talked to him like a regular person and on the way out the door, found out he was my probation officer.
1) Get a real lawyer if you can.
2) Don't make the mistake of thinking your probation officer is
a regular person.
3) If they give you a questionaire, don't admit to anything
except enjoying an occasional drink.
4) If you get into any problems like I did, where people were
trying to extort money from me for quack counseling, get a
jury trial. The judge is in the business of helping the
system screw people.
MEMORIZE THOSE 4 THINGS

I feel you should never drive again. You apparently didn't learn anything the first time you got a DUI since your dumbass self went out less than one week later and did the same thing. Save some poor family the pain from having to identify a loved ones body because you decided to go out and get drunk again and could not ask a friend who is sober to drive you. Save a first responder the pain of having to scrape what is left of your body out of a totaled car or off the side of the highway because you didn't know when to stop. Save your family the pain of losing you because you just had to go out a party with the everyone else. Give up ever driving again unless you can come off the alcohol because you are apparently not responsible enough to know when to stop or when to ask for a ride.

In Nebraska the penalties for drunk driving are listed in the Drivers Manual they make you study before you get a license.
Should have read it more seriously.
OK so you're a slow learner.
1) I agree with the man who said you should get a lawyer. S/he can try to minimize the fall out.
2) stop drinking.
3) go to AA. Two DUI's in one week? I bet this isn't the only trouble drinking has got you into. At least it will show the judge you are trying to fix things. And it's free.

Probably in about two-three years. Each is a misdemeanor, worth one year in jail. They might have suspended your jail sentence but since got a second one I doubt it. Also when you got your first DUI, your license was also suspended. So your second charge for DUI and driving on a suspended is also a year. Not to mention court costs, fines and restitution. And if you don't pay your fines, you won't get your license back.
