my sis who is 23 keeps looking at my cell phone to see who i call and what text messages i send to friends. she also looks at text messages that friends send to me. She will even tell my rents wat ive been talking about. wtf is her problem? i think she is childish, and im 20.

first, unless the dorms burned down, some one is disabled, or your saving money to travel europe by backpack get up and move out. Your privacy is the least of your worries and there seems to be more than childish behaviors that need to be taken into consideration. If any of the above or similar situations are at the basis of your current situation than it is time for you and your sister to actually have an adult conversation besides something other than who your parents love most and start delegating some responsibility as to who is actually going to grow up first. You seem to be involved in a game you don't want to play with the big sister that apparantly needs some one her own age to torture. The fact that you have not lost our senses and taking a leap to actually do more than just run off your stress and put to many miles on those cross trainers should be commended but the fact that they still sit in the shoe tree by the front door of the same house that your sister remains stuck for ever in a childhood that must have been torturous if it left her with the mind and mentality of a 3rd grade bratty sister, is a reason for me to say several words in a row, "the world is a lot bigger than our front yards but if we never learn to be more than safe and comfortable we will always be stunted by the fact that our childhood was the best time ever, while others are out there doing things you only see at 3 am on television.

it sounds to me like she is trying to fill space in her life, she may even seek more attention from you but not know how to express it. It is obvious that you are upset with her, rightly so, however it won't solve the issue, she is struggling for control. I would suggest sitting down privately and talking with her about it, not whne you are angry but really try and ask her questions with love so you may understand her., if done right she may GET ITand you may get from her the real reason why she is doing it, I believe it will be a reason very far removed from wanting to butt into your life, but htat is the venue she is acting out in... childish or not. good luck.

she could be looking out for you..or just like you said she could be very immature for her age....it seem that she has nothing better to do then to get you in trouble with you parents.....my kids do this to one another from time to time...but they are about ten years younger then you two..however i dont think the reason for it should change....talk to her about it if you have done so already...i know its seem childish to run to your parents but that's an invasion of privacy...she should be called on it....hope it all works out
