I really can't answer that because I simply don't know. But I do know this. Shy men do tend to have it harder than shy women where romance is concerned. This has been documented and studied. Shy women still get approached by men, and their shyness is well tolerated by these men. However, shy men do not get approached by women, and to make matters worse, shyness in a man is not tolerated well by women in general. They are very much cast aside.

30? That's a little old to wait until you have a GF or BF. Normally people are married and have kids before the age of 30, so you're answer in no. I'm a shy person and my first boyfriend was when I was 13.

Most people have a first BF or GF in middle school (7th or 8th grade or between the ages of 12-15)

Judging from this forum, every 12 year old is in a monogamous relationship and running headlong into a serious learning curve.

As far as shy people go. Someone can be super shy and live to 100 without a date. If you are so shy that you get to age 30 without any kind of dating relationship you probably could benefit greatly from some counseling work on your shyness. Waiting isn't going to make anything easier.

not always true but the shy ones will have less relationships and they are few and far between.
I myself have had only 7 relationships and none over a year and my last one was 10yrs ago. My first was when I was 21.
