I am brainstorming for my wife's birthday. We have been married 3 yrs, I am astounded by her, I adore her and want to express it. I am more apt to make a gift because it seems to mean more, last year she was given an oil painting of our first daughter, the year before a custom granite jewelry box, other than large diamonds or materialistic type gifts I seek your ideas, we shall also be in Costa Rica for her birthday, a special trip as a last hurrah before our second child is born in 2008. I really think you should take her skydiving/bungee jumping in Costa Rica it will be something you can experience together and memories or more precious then material gifts. That would be a really BIG a last hurrah before the baby

flowers,send her to a salon to get nails done,haircut, facial,maybe even a massage. wait on her hand and foot. pamper her every need,take her out for a fine dinner,and at the end of the day,hav a hot bath ready for her w/bath salts and/or baby oil surrounded by lit candles,many of them and play some barry white or kieth sweat.

act out the way you propossed to her. or giveher a mushy poem. my dad did that and my mom was overjoyed. give her something beyond mateirial items. if you want get her something small after that. like a bracelet you made or a necklace. best of luck.
