There was this guy that I worked with for about 9 months we would talk everyday and eventually began flirting which eventually led to sex. We both were in bad relationships at the time and we saw each other about once every week or two, however we would talk almost everyday on e-mail. We quit having sex for about a 2 month period and still continued to communicate everyday through e-mail. Now were both single and I have seen him twice since then. Afterwards we talk then then we do it again and so on. I told him that I care for him, but he insist that is nothing personal and that he is interested in someone else. But when we have sex it feels intimate to me. My question is why he would he bother showing such an interest in me and talking to me often on personal level if there is nothing there? I also don't know how you could have sex with someone for that long and talk to them so often and not care? I'm not devestated on any account just curious

Men don't put emotion into sex, women do. So most times when a woman says they are interested in having a relationship that is composed of more than sex, they don't understand why because they don't have any feelings put into that sexual relationship..

honestly it depends on the guy I for instance dont do anything unless Im in a relationship with that person and that helps keep things from getting messy but if I have sex with someone Its someone I want to be with for at least a year. but some guys can talk and have sex and that is all it is. personally I dont see it either but I have heard that I am somewhat of an anomly.

Okay, I won't get into how you both being in bad relationships were not helping by sleeping together and not ending the other relationships....asking how long a guy can have a sexual relationship without letting feelings get in the way is like asking how many raindrops are in a thunderstorm....no one knows because each storm (and guy) and different.

For him to say to you that "it's nothing personal" basically is an excuse to use you as a booty call, and nothing more. Obviously he's a d-a-m-n skank user who's only interested in a piece of a-s-s. If I were you, I'd stop seeing him, and try to move on. And don't attempt to have sex with him anymore. He's not worth it, and you don't need to give away your sexual desires and so on to a guy that doesn't even love you. Wait for the right guy.

Because it seems that more and more people have no idea what social etiquette means. But if its just a booty call and just sex, you should have realized that by now. And just because it feel intimate at sex doesn't mean it's intimate. sex is sex because its intimate and no other reason.
but if he is saying i love you or i care about you or things like that, then he is playing games or leading you on. he shouldnt be doing that if he has no feelings. but just because he is having sex with you and talking to you everyday, doesnt mean he wants to be more than friends...see what i mean?

Never, guys or better yet humans can be very cold, meaning without emotions or feelings. Its like feeding a lion in a zoo, give him all the meat you want to and he will be there for show. But step inside and he will give you a different show.
