What you do today is how you will be remembered tomorrow. I never really thought about this but my best friend died in a car accident last week and at his funeral there were so many people, because he made something of his life and was a genuinely good person. We can all die at any moment...so even though I've heard it 1000 times, I really truly believe that the most important lesson would be to live each day as though it were your last.

Child abuse. I think as an adult I can pretty much handle all kinds of things, but I cannot stand an innocent powerless child to be abused in any way shape or form.

There is no greater gift that mankind has been given that we cannot hold onto or keep to ourselves, this gift is the gift of love from our Father in heaven.
Mark 12:30-31:
30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'[a] 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[b]There is no commandment greater than these."

Have fun with your life. Try not to hurt anyone. Make amends with those you do hurt. Know that this is the only planet we have and there is no where else to go so don't screw it up.

When ppl bad-mouth others, they are really telling me what they dislike about themselves.
Like when a man says, "She's a whore I can't stand her", then he's really saying, "I'm a whore I can't stand myself". Or when a woman says, "He's worthless", then she really means "I'm worthless".
See, you only will point out what you don't like in others if it exists within yourself. Since it's hard to criticize yourself, many place the criticisms on others.
