One tenth, or a pinch is the same amount in those little peppers you can get at fast food resteraunts. So if in doubt, save your peppers from McDonalds and use it.

An 1/8 is a pinch so alittle less. With that little of pepper it would not matter if you left it out or not.

I'd just use a pinch/dash or half a turn of a pepper mill. Personally, I add as much pepper to my taste.
