I just noticed that everytime I ask a question, these people are always saying things like "God bless" or God will punish you" Or "Let the Lord show you the way". Why do they feel they can bring religion into a question that has nothing to do with it? I have nothing against religious people, and I am really sorry if I offended anyone. I just think religion is something that should be kept to yourself. Who agrees?

I give up. I will never undersand religious people. What was I thinking? Why would I get a straight answer from people who claim to be religious but are the first to be hateful? Crazy.

I think we are on Religion and Spirituality???? Don't get upset, prayer and blessings never hurt anyone. When I seem to be having a terrible frustrating day, and some one is kind and helpful to me I see it as a blessing. You also have to understand that they mean no harm, they are following a commandment, to love others as yourself. Of all the other things that can be said to you, blessings could never harm you. Im just wondering does the worlds evolves around you...i think not so people will be people and tell how they fell about a subject; just like your question.
Religion is not a religion...it a relationship...between you and some God of yours. if you crazy about someone you would talk about him/her at any opportunity you got. why stop someone from talking about something they a passionate about?

People are just being themselves. Why should we stop trying to spread the love? If it offends a couple of people but blesses many, it is still worth it.

Because fanatics are not actually listening to you and what you're saying. They've got a little conversations running in their heads with themselves saying, oh, this is a great opportunity to preach, without actually listening to your question, or having an intent to actaully answer your question.
And this is the Religion and Spirituality bit, isn't it?

You said it! I used to work with this christian fanatic lady that everything would become a religious, preachy conversation with people. One time I was at work and she walked by my cubicle and came over to say hi then she picked up a picture from my desk of me and hubby when we got married and asked me "is he of the Lord? do you know the word of the Lord" I dint even know this lady and had not being properly introduced to her. Finally I got so fed up with her constant harrasment that I had to talk to my supervisor and I guess they must of talked to her because she calmed it down a lot.

religion cannot be kept to yourself... i once thought that religion is a very personal thing... but you know what? spirituality (religion) is a SHARED experience, just like reality.
And I'm sorry that many beleivers "preach" to you... in their minds, they are trying to do you a good turn... save your soul... that kind of thing... so, give them some charity... aafterall, you are free to regard or disregard whatever is said to you, no?
