Well you're breastfeeding so that's a BIG help, try taking a walk everyday, make sure you're still eating a healthy diet, and start slowly doing more exercises. Try pilates, I hear great things about them, or yoga. They have low impact exercise programs for beginners so you won't kill yourself from the get go.

After my first son I did about 150 crunches a night. I got a nice flat tummy again. But that didn't work after the second one. Old fashioned walking and eating right was the only way I was getting those pounds to melt. The skin never did go back to where it was supposed to go. So maybe I'll get a tummy tuck after this one.... LOL

I eat four small unprocessed meals a day ((veggies(no potatoes or corn), lean meat or beans, multigrain or 100% whole grain low carb bread)). I eat grapes or cantaloupe if I want a snack. Most times I swap black beans for meat at my meals because they are cheaper lol, plus they have lots of fiber and plenty of protein per serving. Anyway, I have finally made a dent in the last 10 pounds I have been trying to lose for three months by doing this! My daughter is 7 months old. The last 10 pounds are the hardest! I walk with her in her stroller for an hour to an hour and a half EVERY day and make sure I choose a route with a lot of hills. I also do this belly dance workout video by Kathy Smith that is great for your stomach and arms!!! After a few workouts everyone was mentioning how my arms looked slimmer(everyone knows these last 10 pounds are p*ssing me off!!!)! Good luck with your weight loss ventures. I don't know how breastfeeding will affect your goals. I don't breastfeed, wish I would have though!! Good for you!

I gained 43 pounds with my last pregnancy. My daughter is 6 months. Within 4 1/2 months I have lost 60 pounds. I started walking. I walk at least 3 days a week about 2 miles a day. I stopped walking due to heavy bleeding. I have a question posted. When I was not walking I lost 5 pounds in 1 month. I eat a lot of veggies and drink tons of water. I eat very healthy. Balanced protein, carbs, and fruits too. The only problem I have is cake. I love it. I also bake cakes and sell them. Even though I limit my cake intake, I can still get rid of those fat pants! I have lost 10 inches in my waist and 8 in my hips. I still have 5 inches in my waist and hips and 30 to 40 pounds left to loose. I have never felt better!

It takes your body 2 years to fully recover from having your child. Some take longer then others.Drink lots of water and walk walk walk.,it works.I had twins a year ago and i am finally back to prepregnancy weight.Don't pressure yourself or feel bad about yourself you just brought a miracle into your life.I also do not believe the nursing thing to be true,i havve been breastfeeding my twins and i had no weight loss because of that. Stay positive and good luck!

Go with jenpeden's recommendation. And next time you get pregnant, take a healthier diet and don't believe that "When pregnant, always eat for two" myth.
