go on some vacation with her like paris or france or somehwere that relates to your relationship and propose to her there and somewhere she will remember.

dude, you lucky man. meeting the love of your life is fantastic!!!

nice of you to consider the proper timing of getting married and all. why not talk with your lady, she may have something set in her mind that could help you work out your mind easier.

for me, waiting until after school, and getting into work is a good thing, but we're all different, so go with what suits. you'll only know this once you have a chat about it all.

as for asking the actual question, don't do anything tacky like a flashing sign at a baseball game, or ring in the glass of champagne, these are very very sad, and i'd hope that you'd be genuinely romantic with your girl when you ask her. go for simple, to the point, and keep it light.

all the best now

Eh?

Surely you can ask the good lady to wed you and then you will be engaged to marry but without a set date.

BTW, I was engaged at 19, married at 21....now have 3 kids and married for almost 8 years.

You dont have to have a good job for a good wedding. A wedding is made good by the people at the wedding. Good music & good food help too. These are the most bitched about aspects of weddings.

I'd wait til you are done with your studies and have started your careers. I say this because... you are going to go through another life change when you stop your studies. Make sure this relationship will change right along... because marriage isn't a joke and should be viewed as permanent. Long term, all life commitment is a special and sacred thing. Be sure that you are ready to be with this special person.. forever.

As far as what age... age doesn't matter.. maturity does. Hope this helped...

I would save for a ring that would suit her perfectly, and when you find ring that you think will be the perfect symbol of your love for her, save, save, save and when you can afford it................... ask her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go for it!!! You know when the time is right!! Good Luck hope she says YES!!! xx

since you already have concerns about asking her after you have a job, i think that is the best time.
