So my Boxer is almost 7 weeks old and I don't know if this is a puppy her age.

first off shes not very playful she would rather sleep in a corner than play. I have a 2 yr old and she will play around with him some but after about 5 mins she calls it quits and goes back in the coner to sleep.

also 2 nights ago we were playing with her and she was actually a little hyper for once and when we all went to bed i put her in her crate to sleep. In the morning when i went to let her outside she would not put much pressure on her front left paw and when she would she would limp. After a little while she began to walk and play like nothing was wrong with it. This morning she was walking and she seemed to trip up over her feet or something bc she just kinda fell over. but got up and walked normal afterward. I just got home and when i was feeding her she did not want to put pressure on her back right leg. I am bringing her this weekend to get her shots and see the vet for a puppy check up.

Wow 7 weeks old. Personally I think that she still be with her Mother. I've breed in the past, and no puppy ever left the Mom till at the very least 9 weeks, but normally we waited till 12 weeks.
I think it's "VERY" normal for her to be sleeping as much as she is. She's still a baby and is still growing, so she needs her sleep. As for the tumbling around, that's also very normal for her age. They are still getting used to actually walking, and still a little clumbsy. Which she will get better with age. I still think it's a good idea to have the vet see her though, because her shots are very important, especially since she's already been taken away from her Mother. I wouldn't have her around a bunch of different dogs, or people till she gets her shots either. Seems so many dieases like Parvo which is so deadly if not caught early on, can be transmitted through people's shoes, and other dog's paws. It takes a lot to kill the parvo virus too.
I think it's a good thing too that you are crating her to teach her that's her safe place. Also a good idea for puppies, and their safety while you are not at home, or can't watch them. Seems they like to chew on anything, and everything.
I say let her sleep when she wants to, and play when she wants too, and get her shots, and she should be good to go!! :) Good Luck!

Seven weeks old is still very young. I have Boxers and at 7 weeks they still need a lot of sleep...in fact, they're usually still with their mother and littermates at that age. I've never bought or sold a pup younger than 8 or 9 weeks old. Anyway, yes, the sleeping is normal. Also, the pup is still pretty fragile so it will get sore if handled too roughly or even if it's handled too much. She could even be sleeping on a leg wrong and make it stiff and sore. So, the limping could be from something as simple as that. But, it could also mean something more serious like hip dyplasia so it's best to just bring it up with your vet when you take the pup in. Boxers are wonderful dogs for families and children so don't get discouraged, just give her time to grow and in about three weeks, you'll be wishing she'd go back to sleep for a while!

Your puppy is only 7 WEEKS OLD!! Of course its gonna be wobbly & sleep alot...it's an infant! (& just days ago yanked from her mother) I sure hope that you just got her & not a week or more ago & from a reputable breeder NOT A PET STORE!
What do you expect a being of 7 weeks of age to do ....tow a wagon? Give that poor pup a break & let it get strong & active on it's own. It will be playing 24/7 soon enough...you won't know how to stop it! (much to your delight & that of your child). Thank God she's going to the vet soon....maybe you should print our answers & show them to him. Enjoy your new little girl! (Now I've probably pissed you off....sorry! Hadda be said :).

A trip to the vet maybe very advisable. Also if you bought the puppy from a reputable dealer, you might call them as well. Sometimes puppy are not fully weened at 7 weeks so the puppy might just be alittle mommie sick. You might get him a stuffed animal to keep with him. Don't wait to long to tak puppy to vet.

I wouldn't worry to much since she is only seven weeks ol. i don't how long you've had her but my latest puppy was like that. It will take her a while to get used to you and your family. And you've got to rember that she probably hasn't seenor been around anything but her mom and siblings. As far as the stumbling and leg thing she probalby just steped on her foot wrong. And she will be very clubsy fo a while so like i said don't worry to much. B ut just to make sure i would take her to the vet beacuse she could be sick. Or maybe she's just a lazy puppy.
Good Luck and have fun with her.

Puppys at that age will sleep as much as 20 hours a day, As for the sore paw, I'm sure the pup woke up and was trying to dig his way out of the Cruelty cage you have him in.

You might ask the vet to look at her hips. He might want to x ray them Hip dysplasia is not uncommen in larger breed dogs, although not very commen to a boxer. Enjoy him.

At 7 weeks she should still be with her mother and littermates.Take it easy on her,she is an infant, don't push so hard.
