Alot of people (girls for the most part) are what i like to call "trendy" gay. Those are the ones that can just suddenly quit being gay. Once a person discovers that he/she is gay it is with them forever. Yes they may eventually marry and form a heterosexual family but more than likely they are doing it for either the family or friends usually it is not for themeselves. If they do it for themselves, more than likely its because they are trying to convince themselves that they are not gay.
Being Gay does not change the person. They are just like anyone else but they just like the same sex insted of the opposite sex. Many people put a lable on the homosexual community but they shouldn't. Homosexuals are just like everyone else they just see things a little differently.
There is no wheres in the bible to my knowledge that simply states "if you are gay you will not be accepted into the kindom of heaven" If your looking for something concrete- 1 Cornithians 12:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends
If you really read into that, beyond the text, notice where it says rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things...
Most of the time when someone says they are Gay people throw it at them that they are being a disgrace to human kind, they are turning their backs on God but really they are living by his word. God wants the truth. Who is it besides himself to say whether it is wrong. But Love is Love and God loves "unconditionally" so why would being gay make him turn his back? I dont think he would anyone that believes in God knows he loves uncondionally and they should also have eternal life in the gates of heaven just along with the rest of us .

yes, people can change, it's called MATURITY. Also, we all have a special gift that we can all do very well, when a person finds out what that gift is, they change without thinking about it...they just do it and its easy because it's their destiny. If you're worried about going to heaven, just learn about Jesus and live a life similar to that, ya know, help people, but don't focus so much attention on "gay or not gay" just get to know yourself first and relationships will follow--at that point we'll see if it's a man or a woman.

I think it is easier to explain like this. There are so many types of gays as there are so many types of men and women. Let say 1 is represent man and 10 is represent woman. So 5 is gay. but there are so many levels of ppl like 1.25, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 2.75, 3,4 or 5.25,5.5,5.75,6,7,8,9....ok. Based on that method they can be different a bit by abit to each others. But they can not be changing to another because it is not a feeling or lifestyle.
If a belief say human can go to heaven, it include all..... man, woman, gay , man+, woman+, man-, woman-, gay+, gay-...............................reasonalble?

Bisexual people can change partners and be happy, but I don't think these ex-gay ministries do anything but make people spend their lives feeling guilty and lying about themselves.
It's an important part of a person, but only a part.
I've been bi since I was five, and I'm 32 now. I wouldn't want to change and resent people telling me I have to.

No, a person cannot stop being gay. They can choose to be celibate but their sexual preference is still homosexual. God made gay people. If they are good in the sense of treating others with kindness, they will get the same reward as others.

Will they go to Heaven? I don't know. that Is up to God. I don't Judge anyone. but yes people can change. but even if they don't we have NO right to Judge them. they each know how they feel and they each know If their Love or lack of Love for God. ok I hope that makes sense I am tired tonight. Have a Good Day.

If you're straight, how easy is it to become gay? Probably just as difficult for a gay to become straight. As for bisexuals, I don't know. Gotta ask one yourself.
Are gays going to heaven? No. But they're not going to hell either since neither exist.

being gay is not a choice. you are born gay. maybe some people choose not to act on their gayness, and get married and have miserable lives living in denial.
and there is no heaven so it doesnt matter.

This is a good question. Ignore the morons who insulted you. I'm not knowledgeable enough about homosexuality to give a good answer, and I don't believe in heaven, so I won't be of much help. You can probably find a better answers if you post this question in the gay, homosexual and transgendered area of YA than in Religion and Spiritually.

I think that it's a matter of decision. If they decide to be the way the want, we have not right to tell them what to like or not to like. Either way, i think that tolerance is the key for a better society...
all of us are god's creature... god's love, not hate..
just an opinion
