SPAY HER!!! Please become more informed! Spaying or neutering your domestic cat or dog is so extremely important for them. Their hormones can make them so uncomfortable & confused. Plus it prevents certain cancers in your cat. When your doggie is in heat her scent attracts other dogs & everyone is miserable trying to do what their instincts tell them. Why haven't you had her 'fixed' yet? Please say you're not planning for her to have a litter! Lord NO!

in the event that they tied, there is not any thank you to "avert" being pregnant, that's already a executed deal. What you may do is get your woman to the vet for an emergency spay - final undertaking the international desires is greater canines bred by probability. Get the male neutered too. while you're low on money, check out a low value spay/neuter medical institution, here it extremely is Petluv. call your close by Humane Society or Animal centers to locate one close to you -- and don't wait, it is extremely an emergency.

If you don't want any problems the best thing to do is to spay or neuter young puppies before the age of 6 months. Although that doesn't mean that you can't spay or neuter them later, it's just a good rule of thumb. And Pamela G, hormones are natural it's all part of nature, I don't think they are all that miserable to them, they don't have that kind of understanding. I can't imagine that their instincts make them miserable either, after all their instincts help keep them alive. Do your instincts make you miserable? Probably not!

Get her spayed. That'll take care of SO many problems, including the one to which you refer. Maybe you hoped for puppies someday, but my vet says pregnancy can sometimes be dangerous for small dogs. I didn't hesitate to get my baby spayed. Once it's over, no more female problems.

The only way to stop her is to spay her. Plus you also take away the risks of cancer, most canine cancers have to do with the reporductive organs. She'll be heathyer, cleaner and much happier!

Have her spayed. It will not effect her personality adversely. You didnt say how old she is.
You can also get the doggy pill. But if she isnt a pedigree to be used for breeding it would be best to have her spayed

You need to get her spayed and thats the only way. Normally people do it when they are puppies but it wont hurt her to spay her now.

Spay her. Not only will it prevent her from menstruating, but it will also prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

I think you have to get her fixed. That's what we did with my dog. It's bad enough when you are on your period but you don't need the dog to be on it too!Good luck.
