All wire transfers are monitored closley by the fed. Appaarently some are under the impression that senders and recievers names and personal information are not collected, not true.

Good idea. However, it says in the article that they only seize amounts of $500 or more. People will likely just send $499.00 at a time and go to different Western Unions to send their money. I hate these financial facilities such as Payday Loan Co., Money Mart, etc. and don't think they should be allowed to operate, anyways. That is what banks are for and if people can't have a bank account, then there is usually a reason for that, such as that they aren't in the country legally! The fact is that these transactions are not only done by illegal immigrants sending money home to their families, but also possibly by terrorist activists sending money to their group. I think all these financial institutions should be shut down or at least 100% monitored and accountable for EVERY transaction they put through.

Well, not sure what the question is here, but according to the article it sounds like Arizona is trying. Further, it seems that the money will be returned to the senders if it is determined that it is not being used for illegal purposes.

Hell, the US should seize the whole dammed country, and take back the Mexican killers who have murdered Americans and are protected by the corrupt Mexican government. Many of them are wanted for killing US police officers.

GOOD.... it is time they stopped stolen money from leaving the country.... any thing an illegal alien obtains in this country is the same as theft, stealing, a crime. All money stolen by illegal aliens should be confiscated and used to prosecute those who hire illegal aliens....

YEAH!!!!

Another small brick in the wall of blocking out illegal immigrants. They come here to make money, only to send it out of the country. . . Yeah - that defense about them helping our economy. That is really HELPING our economy. It's more like they are helping themselves to our economy. . .
