Is every one that professes to be a Christian really a Christian

I can't give a number or percentage of people, living or dead, who might be in eternal communion with God. There are Biblical suggestions that it will be less than 50%. Like so many words, Christian has lost much meaning over the centuries. Now people say they are Christian because they go to church, or because their parents were Christians, or because they come from a so-called Christian nation. It seems that the word, Christian no longer means being saved or even seeking salvation.

The story of Noah gives us pause to consider that Jesus' flock may, indeed, be VERY small. We should always be meditating on God, advancing His kingdom as Jesus directed us, and pursuing greater holiness at all times. We should always be readying ourselves for death or Christ's return.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus cried out - not everyone who cries Lord, Lord , will be saved.

I can't judge percentages, But there are many christians that you can't tell the difference in there life from anyone else except for 1 hour on Sundays.

If you ask a jehovah witness, they will tell you 144,000 and the seats are filling up fast :)

Many people that profess that Jesus Christ is Lord will not enter Heaven. That's plane and written out in the Word of God.

Well then, now what?

In the final generation that we are in right now, many people who attend church and praise God each day, and believe they are following the teachings of Jesus Christ will accept the first christ that appears here on the Earth. By the way, he is the pretender christ. The devil himself, Satan is his name.

Many are called, but few are chosen.><>

Only gnostics are authentic christians (the masses of mainstream are no "flock" are they). Study early christianity and find out why. It's the only club that goes right back to the source (Catholicism is kind of massive, lol).

Nope. Scritpure says that too. Even gives a pretty good checklist for yourself, to make sure you're not one of the "posers."
