Argh!

Not fun!!!

Well, I first want to say (I hate to be the one to tell you this) that if they are in your car...they are also likely to end up on you, your clothing and possibly where you live as well!
Start with a vacuum - wait at least one hour after that (the vacuum aggrivates the fleas, and causes the eggs to hatch ) pick up a product called boric acid. (powder form) The most inexpesive one's are found at (yes, it's true) Walmart. You apply the powder to the carpeted areas (in either your car or home)- and using either a dry scrub brush or a 'carpet rake' work the powder into the carpet. It is usually suggested that the area not be vacuumed again for at least 10 days. Do not be worried if you see fleas during that time. The boric acid works on the female fleas ability to lay eggs (kills that chance) and also kills off the adults, eggs and larvea.
Some people prefer to use a more natural product (powdered detergent) 20 Mule Borax
(light green box)- which, can usually be found at most grocery/department stores.

Good luck!

Use a flea bomb. You just buy one, put it in your car and set it off. Make sure you give it plenty of time to air out before you drive in it. Go to Petsmart and ask a clerk, they may have other suggestions.

If you live someplace in the arctic, leave your car outside with the windows down for about a week. Otherwise, you'll have to fumigate your car (and be sure to close all the windows).

Spray it good with flea killer spray and shut the door. Probably any good bug killer will work.
