It depends on the size, but probably. Just don't stuff it with weapons or liquids. Check out the TSA's website and your airline's carry on restrictions. You'll be able to find exact dimensions.

Now would probably be the best time to actually travel with a carry on item as long as there are no liquids in it! No one else is bringing carry ons so you would have the run of the house!
