Amar:means Moon,in the accent of egyptians.....they speak arabic but they have their own local accent....Amar= Qamar in Arabic....

Yep, she's right. It means moon, and in Arabic it usually carries images of purity and light, a sort of chaste romance.

as they said it means Moon, however ..
it's not nessosery to be used by a man to a women in a romantic way. Girls say it to each other to be kind and friendly.
I don't think guys would call each other with this word, because they may look like gays.
