Heat a skillet then add enough oil to slightly cover bottom. when oil gets hot add 1 8oz. package fideo or angel hair pasta crunched a little. Brown pasta then add 1 small onion chopped, let fry till onion is opaque. Then add a small can of El Pato tomato sauce, let cook a few minutes to thicken tomato sauce. Now fill tomato sauce can with water and pour into skillet. I now need to know do you like your fido seco "dry" or mojado "wet", if you like it dry just pour in the 1 can of water, and wet is 2 cans. Lower the heat to low, let the sopa cook until the fideo is cooked to your liking. This is how I've made it for years, hope you like it.

In a med. sauce pan put a spoonful of veg. oil warm on med-low heat throw in one box of fideo toast til slightly brown, you can add onion while you toast the fideo.( I like to use bell pepper and onion for flavor ) add chicken bouillon to 2 cups of water I like to use Knorr de pollo 1 heaping tablespoon and I like to add garlic powder , powdered comino , pepper and tomato sauce 1/2 a can til I like the taste of the soup set your timer for eight minutes bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer and cover with a lid, turn off after 8 min. and let it sit for 3 minutes. You can boil chicken and add to fideo before you simmer fideo or you can brown ground beef and throw it in before you simmer. If it gets too dry just add water a little at a time.
