I was just talking to my best friend about this last night. We were wondering why we suffer from "bad boy syndrome". We think we came to a conclusion (speaking just for us of course).
Bad boys have the reputation of being fighters. We want a guy that we know (imagine) will defend us against all evil. (LOL) It is a protection thing. Not that this is always the case, but it's the image. For some reason, women think the "nice guys" are push overs. Won't stand up for themselves. So they figure if they are push overs, how can they defend me?? (This is not always the case I know) Plus, (I don't care what any woman says) there is a part, even if it is a small part, of us that likes the idea of being dominated. Bad boys are more agressive than the nice guys. Some women find that agression can be a HUGE turn on in certain situations (i.e. the bedroom.) In this case, it is a sexual fantasy.
Also, some of it has to do with rebellion against parents. It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always a part of a woman that likes to throw her parents into shock with her boyfriends. They want her to have the nice guy, so, she goes for the bad boy.
And lastly, I believe the majority of it is an emotional problem. If a woman has had a rough child hood, she may not feel comfortable with a man being kind, loving and compassionate to her needs and feelings. (kinda like the girl who always thinks she is ugly and won't believe anything anyone tells her). It is easier for some women to believe and accept the bad from men, than it is for them to believe and accept good things from them.

That's ridiculous. THE NICE GUYS ARE FORCED TO VISIT STRIP CLUBS??? You've got to be kidding me.
Women don't want a crap guy. We want someone with personality, passion, a sense of humor, whatever. I know a lot of women who really put themselves out there in a relationship - they are the most loyal girlfriends ever and you couldn't ask for better, but they still get treated like trash. Where are these "nice" guys that look so different from the mean ones? Why aren't they stepping up?

I don't know what movie/tv show this came from, but the line was: We flirt with bad boys, but we marry the good boys.
And in all honesty, that's true. The "bad boys" end up living in a po' dunk single wide trailer with their gap toothed wife and 5 bratty kids and 3 incest loving dogs.
If you're a good guy, you might get overlooked at first, but the girl you really want is right around the corner alone wondering why you're worried about that tramp that doesn't give a crap about you.

The bad boys get the women?
May be you are a real nice guy, but when I judge by your phantom, may be you make a face like this many times a day. Even those who have not learned face reading, unconsciously feel that there is something moody about such face.
You may want to catch yourself in the mirror with a typical facial expression. May be you would be surprised.
A friend of mine complained that he was so ugly. Well he was not a superstar, but he was not so ugly either. One day I caught him looking at himself in the mirror. Did he make an ugly face! No wonder he felt ugly! He was not aware that he changed his facial expression, when looking at himself in the mirror!
Then, nobody and nothing can make us happy, we can only decide to be happy, no matter what. And when we fail, we can start over! You will see how this rubs off on others and people will like you more!
Be happy, you are worth it!

Whats your definition of nice? Or bad for that matter? woman loved to be adored feel cherished and treated like the only girl in a crowded room. Women are constant objects of attention. Go to any scene (club/bar) and the ratio is staggering. So get creative and give us some room to breath while your at it. Don't grope us on the dance floor then offer us a drink and demand our time or conversation. Let us know your there and then let us get curious about you. Trust me, if your cute and you catch my eye, I'll be looking for you, hoping your looking for me. But play it cool. Maybe I'm not ready to hook up with you until I've danced and talked with my girlfriends. And if you wait until the club ends, then you can meet me for after hours....Have confidence, have patience it'll get you chicks....rashes and itching and tales of strippers and one night stands are not turn ons for anyone.

Coming from a woman - I honestly don't know what to tell you. Unfortunately for all of you nice guys, I think you are just too shy. Most "bad guys" are very ballsy and have no problem going up and talking to a girl and professing their "love" for them and being very open and out there with their relationships. Generally, the nice guys are a little more conservative and end up losing out on the deal because they are too afraid to talk to a girl. Personally, I like nice guys!

I know that this is very frustrating, but that's just the way that things are. But, as you get older you will make more money, and as girls get older they get fatter and more ugly.
