Relationships are made up of giving and taking. If the other person in the relationship does not know what your needs are then they are not able to give anything to you and will just end up taking what they need. To have a good relationship, you must start from day 1. There is nothing wrong with letting the other person know what you require from the relationship, but it is wrong to assume that they will give you what you need without giving them the knowledge of what it is.

Talking is the Key to any relationship. without it you have nothing .the next Key is Understanding, it does not come easy.It can also be confuseing, and frustriteing .The next Key is Time and if you have two the third well be there. good luck.

It's only fair to be open and honest about your needs up front. No asky no getty. I know I would feel really hurt if my loved one didn't give me the chance to give them what they need because they never told me. If he really is worth it, he will be grateful that you trust him and respect him enough to open up and give him the chance to be all that for you.

It is not wrong at all to tell the other person what your needs are. That's called communication. People are not mind readers.
