If you and your father don't normally spend a lot of time together, as a father and daughter, I would let him pick what to do...even if I didn't like what it was, I would still do it and your father will remember that for the rest of his life, and he will cherish the time you spent together.

One of my absolute favorite things to do with my dad when I was younger was go visit his old haunts and do some of the things that he use to do when he was my age (at the time). It created a lot of really neat memories. We'd also always go out to eat, usually some place he use to go when he was younger.

Most of the ideas presented earlier are great. But whatever you do, make sure that you find time to talk to your dad and tell him how you enjoy his company and would love to do it again.

How old are you? What part of the country/world are you in? Do you have any shared interests? Build on those. Pick an environment you both find relaxing.
