I feel that is fine. I broke up with my ex and now we are friends.
he is the one who broke up with me so he must have no feelings for me. My feelings for him is also over. So, i think it is perfectly fine. Just like friends. And I when talking to ex about the current relationship, you will gain more, because we were once a lover and sometimes you need a guy(not the same gender) to give advice though you can free to choose if it is logically or right thing to do.
The important thing is that you are devoted to your current bf.

I don't think it's anything wrong with it. Maybe that is why they are the EX. Because they were better friends to begin with than to be in a relationship. It's all about trust. It's just like friends. I don't think they are trying to get back together because they wouldn't have been an EX in the first place if they were meant to be,

I actually do. I talk with my ex-husband and he talks to me. He actually helps me see when I am being DORK. We help to remind each other about stupid mistakes so we do not do them in our current relationships. Maybe this is only because we practically grew up together. We are much batter friends then we ever were husband and wife. ( I started seeing him at age 15 and was married to him for 8 years) I also agree that you shouldn't if you have an ex just out to destroy. It really depends on the relationship with your ex and if they want you or if you just want to see each other happy even if it could not be with each other.
GOOD LUCK!!

well.. it really depends on your current partnet. I often went over to my ex and tells them about my current relation problem too. If not I want to get back to them. Just that they are better listener. So why not? And most important, I do tell my current gf about it too. I mean that I told her I'll be visiting or calling my ex up for a chat regarding any problem including relationship.

I think it is not a good idea to do that. I think when people do that, they are being selfish, and inconsiderate of the other person's feelings. For an example: a woman breaks up with the man. He is heartbroken. He answers her phone call because he is not over her. She breaks his heart more by doing something like this. Not a good idea. Let the past be the past.

NOOOO. You should leave the past in the past. Honestly you shouldn't talk to ANYONE about your relationship problems. People only do this for justification. "yeah hun you're right and he's wrong" If you want to talk to other people about your relationship get a therapist. With real love you keep your relationship PRIVATE. Only tihngs you should talk about are things that are good.

I never talk to an ex in regards to my personal life. If he were truly interested, he wouldn't be my ex.
I think that you are 100% right on!

No. Find someone else to open up to. His interest and suggestions will always be biased to make him look better than the guy you're with.
