Take a cold bath and if you can tolerate ice in the water -if your fever does not go down within 15 minutes then you need to call 911---a fever is your body telling you something wrong and a 104 is dangerously high-it doesn't take much deprivation of oxygen to cause irreversible brain damage so I wouldn't play around but either go or have someone or call 911 to a hospital.

You should take a fever reducer medicine like aspirin, Tylenol or Advil and follow the dosage recommended on the bottle. You should also sponge off with lukewarm water or take a cool shower or bath to reduce your fever. Be sure to drink plenty of liquids because a fever will cause you to dehydrate quickly. This will only help with symptoms. You may need to see a doctor or go to the hospital to find out what is causing the fever - and may require antibiotics and/or IVs if you are too dehydrated.

104 is very high and I wouldn't wait 5 hours. There has to be a reason why it's that high, so you might be better off going to the emergency room.
You could try taking Tylenol Fever and putting a cool cloth on your forhead, but that might just mask the problem. Your temp might climb back up while you're sleeping and you might not even know it.

That is a pretty high fever. It's pretty unlikely that you will be well again in 5 hours. I would call your doctors office (most have 24 hr. telephone services you can call.) and see what they advice you to do. If it gets any hire, I would get medical attention..
