hehe sweetie, i JUST went through that situation. ..... except uh. he might get this not like either of you... maybe just as friends. i sudjest you talk to your friend seriously. and tell her nothing is more important to you then your friendship with her then the silly boy.... luckily in my situation... the guy both my friend and i liked actually liked me since we met. i was just kinda blind. and now he and i are dating. and he and i set my friend up with his best friend because he's had a crush on her FOREVER. But i Never would have gone ahead with a relationship with this guy if i knew my friend would not be okay with it. it causes more drama and if the boy were ever to find out that you and her both secretly liked him and then you went ahead anyways. you come off freakishly shallow. and he might just find you that much mroe unappealing, and may consequently for you, go out with your friend...so. you see. thats what GOOD can come with communicating with your friend... you may get the guy. and you know what if you dont. its not the end of the world. if its meant to happen. it will

Don't compete for a guy with your friend! You'll both end up hurt and no longer be friends and sooner or later the guy will go away. I'd say... let the 3 of your be friends and that's it!
