go to cnet.com, look for AdAware SE personal edition, SpyBot Search & Destroy, AVG anti virus. Also helps to get off IE. Go to mozilla.com, download their Firefox browser, then download Yahoo Toolbar for FireFox. The directions are pretty easy to follow. Strongly suggest you read all the tutorials till you fully understand them before removing any files. I have messed up badly by removing infected files.

You can also go to System Restore (start>programs> Accesories> System Tools> system restore) and go back to a date before you started having problems. Save all important files first, as you may lose them, & downloads & programs.
If Nothing else works, get a friendly geek to reformat your hard drive. Warning:THIS REMOVES ALL PROGRAMS, FILES, AND SYSTEM PLATFORM. Your friend needs to know what their doing.
