Already tried Ebay. There isn't a big following for this artist, so buyers don't know the true value. I bought it 7 years ago for $300 and need to sell stuff for some quick extra cash. I've never taken it out of the tube and have to believe that there is an art dealer that buys back stuff like this?

Anybody know of anyone???

Try Ebay

Ebay...research the value and your other options before you list it though. You may be able to sell it by advertising it on craigslist and/or your local paper.

I hate to say this, but ebay actually sorta defines it's true value. You may need to wait until the artist is having a good month or year or something to sell it for what you want...or like I said try Craigs List.

i recommend taking you piece to get an appraisal. you might try a larger gallery that is interested in such work. perhaps they will be able to help you sell the piece as well.

(sorry, obviously no one else read that you already tried eBay!)

You might try posting it on craigslist.org.
Even if there is not a craigslist in your area you might try posting in areas that typically have buyers willing to pay more for art (NY, LA, SF etc).
