Go to Build a Bear and get one of those recordable bears and ask her if she wants to go to homecoming with you. I'm sure she will say yes- its happened 2 times at my school. Good luck!

Buy some flowers and send them to the girl or just give it to her and inside give a little note that might say something like would you go out with me. I will personally have more of a chance to say yes if you do something romantic. For example ask her to homecoming with a poem (and a nice one to not one that doesn't even rhyme) if your not good with poems then ask a friend to help you with it.

This only seems to be complicated because people want to make it more difficult than it really is. Once you have the person's full attention it's not hard. Just like the answers above, something to the effect of "If you plan to go to homecoming, will you go with me?" will work fine. If they want to go they'll say yes. Anything too complicated will be cheesy and you'll end up embarrassing yourself.

do something special, like put a special note on her locker, and have a mini scavenger hunt for her or him, make them go all around the school looking to find out who you are and what you want. .
or have a special dinner for her or him
or have your friends give her notes or hints and come to her in a tux and ask her like a handsome prince.
make it something she will always remember , not the norm, something different.have fun and good luck.

ok if you want to be creative you could do something like leave a clue @ their locker or car or w/e and have them follow clues that would lead to you and then ask them....or you could just flat out ask them....
