I dont understand why it isnt murder. I dog knows that by attacking another dog it will result in death. So that means it knows that there is an adverse effect by tearing up another dog. As far as I am concerned that is cold blooded MURDER!

What do I expect out of this?

I believe if a dog kills another dog it should get prison sentences. for instance if a dog attacked another dog or just assualted it then the dog shold get say 6 months in prison. If it kills another dog it should get 4 years to life and if it is premeditated the dog should get the death penalty. Same applies for cats and other larger animals

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY DOGS THAT ARE MURDERERS AND KILLERS ARE ROAMING OUR STREETS TODAY?

well, there's some answer for you...

1. There is law.
When animal attacks human or another animal, some of them will get death sentence if it's very fatal, but at least the owner will be sued to pay some money since the owner is the one who is having the responsiblity on their pet.

2. This law is a human made, so it protects human's,
But if there is a law made by Dogs, then i believe it will protects dog's, not just by another dog killer but even if you kill a dog (even accidentally) then you will be sued by their relatives, and get into a Dog's jail or even death sentenced by a dog.

3. Human have a Holy Bible, Al-Quran, Tripitaka, etc. (the religion) that became the base of human's Law.
If they have a Dolphin Bible or Al-Tiger or Tri-Elephant, then they will also made their own Law, base own their religion.

4. I have another good idea, how about if we put all dogs in the world in an isolated island and let them decide their faith, maybee a few century from now you'll see they build a Spinx with Dog's face and human body... and that will be their first Wonder of Dog's World, Good Idea isn't it..................................... isn't it ???

Something doesn't add up here. Is this dog running at large - going onto other people's property to attack them and their pets, or are these cats and this dog trespassing onto the offending dog's property? Because, I can't imagine that Animal Control would do nothing if this dog is off leash, running the neighborhood attacking and killing pets. Also, if you were attacked, why would the neighbor who owns the dog call the police to say you were abusing the dog since that would bring the authorities to her door. And, why didn't you report that the dog attacked you and you acted in self defense. Need a few more facts surrounding these incidents, since the dog should have been picked up for running at large at a MINIMUM!

Dogs do not have the cognitive ability to stand trial and if they did who would represent them and pay their legal bills? Dogs and cats can be put down for killing other dogs and cats and running astray but humans can be put in prison for killing either, it doesn't make much sense to me. When humans run astray they aren't put to death if nobody claims them. I think that animals should be put to death if they can convince police/animal control that they went into another's property and killed it. But animals are looked at as possesions in the eyes of the law only compensable in civil court, unless they bite a human or severely main in which case they can be put to death. I guess animals are kinda like kids, and cannot be technically held liable. It would be like if 2 little kids were wrestling and one broke the other's neck. They do not have the mental capacity to understand what they did nor would time "in the hole" affect a mean dog/cat. I think all they understand is punishment and death...along with love of course.

Animals don't "murder", that's a term for a human taking another humans life.

And you're both a troll and a ******* idiot.

this was funny. i don't know if you are serious, but if you are....
the laws and morals assigned to the act of murder by society as a whole can only be applied to humans because humans are capable of conscious and deliberate thought and actions. according to your theory, you are holding canines, felines, etc, in the same regard as humans, which cannot be done due to inherent biological and intellectual disparities. seriously.

It is an absurd
Should a lion get a prison term for killing a cheetah or another lion?
we(humans) will have to put in prison all wild animals for that
think about it

Dogs and cats don't exactly comprehend the law. They're animals, what the hell do they know? How are you going to make an animal understand that law?

it is, but it just doesn't interest the public like murders between different species. Whatever is exploited is whatever makes the news, and whatever makes the news is what everyone hears about, and usually they don't hear about all the other similar events occuring, and just the ones that'll interest the viewers to watch more. It's all about money.

Actually, when a dog becomes that violent, there is minimal due process and then he/she is put to death. We humans have a better deal.

Yea, good idea, we should have dog courts. Dog judges and dog lawyers could argue the case to the dog jury. Since you are guaranteed a trial by your peers. Dogs could not sit on cat trials and cats could not sit on dog jurys. What the hell am I saying??!! Me thinks it past my bedtime. Goodnight.
