Your body can cannibalize itself for calories and substrates (building blocks) for ongoing function of critical tissues like the brain and heart. It isn't all from fat, for instance, there is muscle wasting to obtain proteins.

Your body is obligated (physiologically no choice) to produce a minimal amount of urine every day to get rid of toxic byproducts of metabolism. Also, you lose moisture in your breath and through sweating.

Result is that you get dehydrated very quickly, but nutritionally you can survive in a catabolic state for a very long time.

Water is released emediately. When you urinate, sweat, and energy. Growing hair is just like a plant. it needs to be watered. Water allows your body to havve the energy it needs to grow and go! Food is more like a fertilizer. It helps keep it healthier and fresher, so that it may live longer and be stronger. If you stopped eating for a week or two you would gain weight before losing weight, because of the fat that your body has stored in its' system. If you stopped drinking water your body looses everything fats do not replace liquid and water, like I said is constantly being removed from the body in several different ways.

cause food is only mostly used for energy.
But your body needs more water, when you run you sweat right.
so when you sweat all that water you drank goes out of you, If thats why many people are thirsty when running, If you dont drink water you he dehidhrtated, wich you may die form.
Food is just for energy. But it isnt that important, but you will have to still eat for energy, The top days without water is suppose to be 3. for food could be up to 2 weeks or more or lesse dont know?

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Simply put, more of what your body does relies on water than on what food supplies. You also have "backup" fuels for when malnorished; your body can adapt to burn more fat as fuel, and not just flab. There are actually bits of fat in everyone's muscles, regardless of how thin. And in desperate situations, your muscle will be broken down for fuel.

Water, however, has no substitute.

b/c you're body is made up of 70% water and after about 24 hours without it-you're organs will start to take water from outside your cells to help try to preserve themselves. this causes the major systems in your body to slow down and eventually stop working-mostly your cardiac system (heart and bloodflow) and respiratory (lungs-breathing).

That's just the way it is. Water is the lubricant, food is the fuel. Without lubricant, the "engine" will seize long before it runs out of fuel.
