In my opinion, you need to move on.... And I think the best way to do that, is start doing things you enjoy.. Hobbies, ect.. hanging out with friends... take things one day at a time, and don't worry about what MIGHT happen. Just live life one day at a time, and enjoy it. A tribute is probably not needed considering she probably is not doing the same for you... You also need to be more specific... Did she pass away? Or is this just a break-up?

Not sure what the 'honor' thing is all about if you broke up with her. It's a good idea though if you feel that's what it will take to heal from a messed up relationship before moving on to another. Peace.

If you want to honor her then never speak negative of her, always show respect when speaking of her . Show her respect and love in all ways. Making a promise to abstain is cheating yourself if you meet someone and form a new healthy relationship and cheating the new girlfriend. Is that what she would truely want for you? Would she want you to be unhappy?

in a way yes. but it feels more like you are punishing yourself for something, i know that you want to honor her and all, and you should, but if you really think that that will help you heal yourself then go ahead. do what you must. and just think of it this way she is in a better place.

Do it for yourself, not her.Sounds like you have enough complications already and don't need anymore.Go out and do the things you used to do before dating.

if you want nothing says you cant. if you think her memory is worth it then yes go for it. and they way this is worded i assume that she passed away so what ever you need to do to heal is perfectly okay.

i dont think so. dont make this promise if you cant keep it, it will only make you feel worse if you do break it. just keep her in your heart forever. i think your girlfriend would have wanted that the most.
