its one thing to do it while youre driving down the interstate (i admit im guilty) but it really pisses me off when some guy comes to pick up his girlfriend or waits on his buddy, sitting in his truck with the radio blared right next to my window, at all hours
i cant tell you how many time i get woken up by these sh*theads, i dont sleep well as it is, but have some common curtosy and turn it down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you're anywhere near a home (or HUGE apt complex in my case) shut the f*ck up!!!

I totall agree. Why do people assume that everyone in the apartment complex or in the neighborhood needs to hear their music? Also, let's not forget the idiots in the apartment buildings who like to blast their stereo tvs so loudly you think the whole building will fall down. Common courtesy has disappeared.

Yes, it is rude. If I wanted to listen to music, I'd turn on my own stereo and listen to the type of music I like.
I'm sorry you are being awakened by these jack@sses. I certainly feel for you... While I'm never awakened by them (at my apt. complex, they usually stop coming in around 11:00 p.m.) my 2 1/2 year old and my 14 month old sons are awakened at least once or twice a week. Try putting two cranky toddlers BACK to sleep after they've both been fighting sleep for the last hour, and have FINALLY fallen asleep. Then, 30 minutes later, right below their bedroom window I hear "BOOM BOOM BOOM". Someone's radio was so loud one night, the windows were actually rattling. VERY rude, and very inconsiderate.

Have you ever noticed that the people who do this are somewhat "vacant" i.e. not the full bottle, 70 cents in the dollar or not totally across the bridge?? Next time simply dial the police and tell them that there is someone disturbing the peace and you want the matter dealt with. I once knew a lady who was having the same problem and she went out of her house and asked the person to turn down the radio in his car. He ignored her so she returned to the house and filled up a 3 gallon bucket with ice water, returner to his car and threw the water in through the open window all over him.

Yes it's rude. I'm getting tired of peoples' sh*t already. Have some common courtousy and some common sense. I hate that sh*t. Call the cops next time, or noise control. It may not solve the problem that night, but maybe after noise control gets enough complaints they'll put security or patrol units in your area.

Yes, it's rude, but some people just get into the tunes. As long as it's not obscenities flying everywhere. What pisses me off is all the crotch-rockets going by at all hours of the day & night. We have to have mufflers on our cars, what about the motorcyclists and their noise?

You are right on the money. That damn jungle music plays so loud you can hear it across the neighborhood, especially when those low-riding dick-heads drive by at 3 am.

I agree with you. I like to listen to it(music) loud out on the highway or interstate but I turn it down in town. Another thing that bothers me is people who like to modify their cars and trucks to make them louder. This is just plain stupid as far as I'm concerned. Now I'm not perfect and I've been known to do stupid stuff myself, but come on.

Yeah. It's rude at night. During the day, I personally dont really care unless I am in my car trying to listen to my favorite song which is getting drowned out by "I ain't never scared I ain't never scared" crap blasting next to me.
