I've been in bad reltionships and had people lie to me and betray me. So, i'm a bit hesitant to just go trusting everyone. But this one guy, he's really telling the truth, and I want to trust him or at least help him be assured that I'm really 100% into this relationship. He just thinks that I don't trust him, that i'm always focusing on the bad, and that I don't want this reltaionship. Please, help me.

Relax, you have nothing to prove. Trust has to be earned in every relationship around the world. You are acting off balance by sounding desperate for him to hear that you trust him. If I am with a girl who has been hurt, I expect her to have trust issues and try to be very patient with her. Relax.

Look at it this way. The relationship may end, most relationships don't last forever, and that is ok. So, while you are in this relationship, you can either relax and enjoy it, or worry all the time that it is going to end.
If you decide to trust this guy, you need to trust him completely. If, however, you have a reasonable reason not to trust him and feel that you won't be able to, you should end the relationship. It is no fun being in a relationship when you feel that you can not trust the other person and it is just as lousy being in a relationship when you feel that you are not trusted by the other person.

well, this is a little bit hard... I think you should tell him about your past relationships then get yourself in a situation where you are in need of someone and go to him and tell him that he was the first one you thought of 'cause you trust him so very very much :)

try to let go of the past that will mess up a very good relationship,tell him you are trying to trust him but it is going to take time open up a little ,then see where you end up ,you don't want to mess this good relationship up over the past 'then this one will be your fault not his just do what i say then you will come out on top take your time tell him what i told you but go slow o.k

i think you should show him how serious you are w/ him. and just let him know that you really trust him because you know he`s telling you the truth. you could just tell him that you trust him more than anyone else right now

You have been hurt bad before and you are just scared of putting yourself in a position to get hurt. You can't force yourself to be anything you are not, but its really unfair to him. He should not have to pay for past boyfriend mistakes.

talk to him and prove him wrong that even if you were into bad relationship that you can trust him that he is the only man he showed to you the real him!
